Terms & Conditions of Sale

Principal Conditions of Sale

  1. All outstanding balances must be paid to Irvine Interiors in full before delivery or collection. 
  2. Any errors/ommissions to your order should be notified to Irvine Interiors either at point of sale or within 1 day of order being placed.
  3. Irvine Interiors are responsible for delivery only to a customers entrance door.  Customers must ensure that sufficient and safe access is available. (See Conditions of Sale 6 below)
  4. Collection or delivery of goods must be arranged within 4 weeks of notification of availability of goods. (See Conditions of Sale 5 & 6 below)
  5. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made, lead times quoted are approximate and cannot be guaranteed. (See Conditions of Sale 7 below)
  6. A refund can be given on stock items, (for hygiene reasons this excludes mattresses) only when purchased at full price within 28 days, providing they are unused, in their original packaging and are re-saleable. A valid receipt showing the original purchase is required. (See Conditions of Sale 9 below)

Conditions of Sale

  1. Any errors/ommissions to your order should be notified to Irvine Interiors either at point of sale or within 1 day of order being placed.
  2. CANCELLATION:  The customer is reminded that all orders placed with and accepted by Irvine Interiors form part of a legally binding contract and goods specially ordered for you cannot be cancelled once they are in progress.  We will consider cancellation/changes to your order if we receive your request before the goods have commenced production by the manufacturer.  We cannot accept cancellations after this stage.  We may only cancel your order if we are unable to supply the goods due to any cause beyond reasonable control.  In this event our only liablity to you shall be to refund any advance payment made by you.
  3. TITLE: All goods supplied to the customer by us remain the property of Irvine Interiors until such time as payment in full has been received.  In the event of the customer being in default of payment Irvine Interiors may remove and resell the goods.  The customer will grant Irvine Interiors irrevocable permission to enter their premises at any time to recover the goods.
  4. VAT: All quoted prices are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
  5. STORAGE: If the customer is unable to take delivery of the goods when they become available, storage can be arranaged free of charge for a maximum of 4 weeks providing payment of outstanding balance has been made within 14 days from the time of notification of availability.  Storage for longer periods can be made at Irvine Interiors discretion, and may be subject to charge.
  6. DELIVERY: Delivery will be arranged within our normal delivery areas on designated days.  We are not normally able to accommodate requests for specifically timed deliveries.  Delivery of goods will be deemed to have taken place when they are taken from Irvine Interiors vehicle at the customers delivery addresss.  Whilst we always exercise great care and consideration when on the customers property we cannot , under any circumstances, accept liability for any occurance that may take place thereon.  The customer must inspect all goods on delivery and advise Irvine Interiors of any shortage or damage, but should this be impractical because of the packaging, etc., notification must be made within 3 days of delivery.  Reasonable access must be provided but, if access to the property is not possible by normal means, alternative arrangements such as alterations to the goods or property may be necassary at the risk and cost to the customer.
  7. LEAD TIMES: All dates quoted at the time of sale are made in good faith and whilst every effort will be made to honour them it must be recognised that they are estimates only and consequently Irvine Interiors cannot accept any liability or damage claims resulting from overdue deliveries from suppliers.
  8. COLOURS AND FINISHES: Whilst every effort will be made to match colours and finishes, all natural and many synthetic colours and finishes can only be supplied on the understanding that there is always a possibility of variation.
  9. RETURNS: A refund can be given on stock items, (for hygiene reasons this excludes mattresses) only when purchased at full price within 28 days, providing they are unused, in their original packaging and are re-saleable. A valid receipt showing the original purchase is required.  Refunds will use the same method of payment as the original purchase.  Discounted items may be eligible for return within the same terms but in exchange for store credit.  We do not accept items back without a vaild receipt.  We do not accept items back after 28 days, even with a receipt.  All special order items are NOT eligible for return and/or refund unless they are faulty.
